Dragons are real. The shock washes over you, slowly. You slowly come back to yourself and notice, as if for the first time, the person in front of you, sitting atop a majestic dragon. You know all about the dragon, naturally. Tale of Dragons has taught you a lot. Of course, until a few seconds ago, you had thought it was all fantasy… You blink in the sunlight. Not long ago at all, you had been inside, on the computer, hatching your newest rare. So many incredible dragons… could they ALL be as real as the one standing in front of you? “You can only have one,” says the figure on the dragon’s back. One dragon. That’s all? Online, you have tons. Then again, that’s a game. You’re shaken from your thoughts as the figure speaks again. “Now, come. Hurry! Usually, Mistland is only open to admins, but this is an emergency. We need everyone we can get who knows something about real dragons.” “Wait,” you say. “I’m going where?” Your mind flashes to all the things you have to do today – (sports practice, work, school, whatever) – but this has got to be important. You don’t know the stranger on the dragon, but come on! Real dragons! Not hesitating any longer, you scramble on board the dragon’s back. No sooner do you have a grip than the rider calls out to their steed and the dragon’s wings lift. It shoots up into the sky as fast as a bullet – and then the world around you disappears. “First, we need to get you a dragon. I needed to catch mine myself, but since we’ve had such a growth recently, you’ll just get yours from the hatchery that Silver and I built.” Silver? Meaning… SILVER Silver? The founder of the site? … Oh. “Wait. Who are YOU then?” The rider doesn’t answer. It’s so dark, they may not even be there anymore. Suddenly, however, the dragon’s wings stop beating and you’re sitting in broad daylight, in front of the strangest building you’ve ever seen. “Welcome to the hatchery on Mistland,” says the dragon rider with a slight smile. “Go right on in.” The rider then promptly flies away on their dragon into the sky until you can't see them any more. |

"That", invi replied, "is a silpetl. Sort of like a bug dragon thing. Usually hostile.the small crystals on this ones back ar'nt dangerous, because they lack the red colouration.only, about a quarter of the species do have red colouration, and those are the ones you avoid touching. You don't wanna know what happens if you touch them..." |

"Yeah, it's pretty nasty," Avalon agreed with invi. She hoped Lucky had overheard that as well. "By the way," she told the cat-eared girl, "you have to fill us in later. How big is this place? What's it like? Though Reginald will probably tell us that... well anyway, I'd better go tell him to make dinner for you." |

Doves chuckled after realizing she didn't have to be super careful with handling the silpetl she currently had. That would have been great to know before I had to handle this little guy, Invi. Doves mentally said to Invi. Storm made a grunting noise while glaring at Invi, which promptly got him a smack to the back of the head. I was being funny Storm, no need to ruin it. Well guys, come on, I'm hungry, and food is hot. The first part was only to Storm, while the rest of it was to Invi, Messenger, Lucky, and Dragons; after which, Doves promptly took off for the dorms with Storm racing ahead. |

It was only when she heard the word 'food' that she realised how hungry she actually was. She raced Doves to the door. |

Iniv snickered at dove's comment. that things big, I'm surprised your able to carry it.also, I didn't say it wasn't dangerous.handle with care.
Invi walked in to the large entrance hall of the hatchery.she looked at
terridor, and the other dragons. many of them would probably be fully
grown by the morning, possibly strong enough to ride! that would be
fun...she wondered when they were going to get some sleep. ((pssssst, i made another signature thing...)) |

Lucky grinned at Avalon. "This place is huge! And I barely
explored a fraction of it." She said, then paused. "Wait ,Reginald is
here? Sweet! I hadn't realized he was going to be here yet. I thought
he was still gathering others. Hey, either way, awesome. I am
starving, so food sounds like a great idea." She glanced around at all
the other dragons, smiling to see them getting so big. Mica was still
small but she would be big sooner or later. One day, her rainbow
feathers would fledge and she would take to the skies. ((Invi, that new one looks awesome!)) |
