Dragons are real. The shock washes over you, slowly. You slowly come back to yourself and notice, as if for the first time, the person in front of you, sitting atop a majestic dragon. You know all about the dragon, naturally. Tale of Dragons has taught you a lot. Of course, until a few seconds ago, you had thought it was all fantasy… You blink in the sunlight. Not long ago at all, you had been inside, on the computer, hatching your newest rare. So many incredible dragons… could they ALL be as real as the one standing in front of you? “You can only have one,” says the figure on the dragon’s back. One dragon. That’s all? Online, you have tons. Then again, that’s a game. You’re shaken from your thoughts as the figure speaks again. “Now, come. Hurry! Usually, Mistland is only open to admins, but this is an emergency. We need everyone we can get who knows something about real dragons.” “Wait,” you say. “I’m going where?” Your mind flashes to all the things you have to do today – (sports practice, work, school, whatever) – but this has got to be important. You don’t know the stranger on the dragon, but come on! Real dragons! Not hesitating any longer, you scramble on board the dragon’s back. No sooner do you have a grip than the rider calls out to their steed and the dragon’s wings lift. It shoots up into the sky as fast as a bullet – and then the world around you disappears. “First, we need to get you a dragon. I needed to catch mine myself, but since we’ve had such a growth recently, you’ll just get yours from the hatchery that Silver and I built.” Silver? Meaning… SILVER Silver? The founder of the site? … Oh. “Wait. Who are YOU then?” The rider doesn’t answer. It’s so dark, they may not even be there anymore. Suddenly, however, the dragon’s wings stop beating and you’re sitting in broad daylight, in front of the strangest building you’ve ever seen. “Welcome to the hatchery on Mistland,” says the dragon rider with a slight smile. “Go right on in.” The rider then promptly flies away on their dragon into the sky until you can't see them any more. |

invi turned to see the others rushing melody and her little
buddies in to the dorms. the silpeti were not restrained, and were
instead perfectly content to pad along-side there tamer. well, whatever
they were doing, she hoped it was part of her plan. she followed them in
to the dorms and passed the others rooms until they stopped in front of
the last door, the last room with an un-occupied bed. hey.....invi
sighed. it was the room opposite to hers. she picked up Terrador and

((Omg, so sorry :O, I'll try posting more though.)) Doves panicked at the intrusion of her mind and at first through up a mental wall while reaching for Little One desperately. LITTLE ONE! Who's this? her mental link tinged with panic. Little One reached out in response and mentally touched Skully and Riv, then got back to Doves. It's just Skully and Riv, trying to tell you something. Doves relaxed and listened to what Riv said. Ya, that works, I'll lead down to the dorms then. She replyed, then turned, but paused as others came up, and Gray practically yelled mentally something was wrong with Riku. Little one, Gray, how's Riku right now? She asked, but didn't single it to just them, she let everyone who was paying attention in. Doves spun, holding onto the little silpeti as she did, and reached out mentally. Okay, I'm ready, lets go, my brother is just crazy. The last part tapering off in projection. Little One, after helping Doves connect mentally, jumped down from his perch and ran to Riku. Riku, RIKU! Hello? Stay with us. He mentally pushed Riku while climbing onto the bed. Little One noticed though that Riku was rapidly loosing the battle to sleep, leaving little one worried, though not panicked, about Riku's state of health. No need to rush currently, he's unconscious, but simply because he's pushed himself to hard I think. Though that blood... He might be suffering massive blood loss, I just don't know though. Little One sent to Doves. Doves listened to Little One's report, then passed on part of it. So Riku's out cold currently, but I'd still like to hurry. She quickly turned and lead the way down to the dorms, though at a pace the others could keep up with. Also, Tamer, if you can't handle the pain, just reach out, I'll help as much as I can. |

((Yay! You're back :D)) Melody couldn't manage a coherent thought. Everything was hazy around her and she was barely paying attention to where he was being led. The sharp ache of the pain numbed everything else inside and around her, leaving her gasping for breath and struggling to stay conscious. She faintly felt her darling slipeti follow them like she commanded, and thankfully they were being left alone. At least the Rider seemed to keep her word. Riv was partly carrying Melody as they entered the dorms. Doves was leading the way, keeping the small silpetl securely in her arms, and Avalon helped carry the Tamer. They must've looked fairly comical, staggering along like the strange trio they were, but thankfully the dorms weren't far. She'd never exactly known how heavy a human body could be, even on a small girl like Melody's. Things got especially hard if the body was unresponsive and slack, leaving it up to her and Avalon to carry her. Skully had wanted to help with his flame-stretcher, but she'd told him no. He needed to keep his strength and Melody wouldn't have liked dragon magic to touch her. They would need to change that one day, though... Invi, Shace and Reginald looked on with interest as they moved across the room to the door to the available bedroom. In the meanwhile the room had apparently changed it's blueprint slightly. Where there used to be one big room with beds in it, now there was a big lounge with doors leading to bedrooms. Privacy, that's more like it, Riv thought to herself, noticing how every door except for the one they were going to had names on them. Lovely. Reaching the nameless room, she struggled to open the door under her heavy load. "Invi, don't just stand there, give me a hand," she grunted to the girl holding Terry. She was about to buckle down beneath Melody, and she'd rather not do that. |

he continued to struggle keeping awake but clearly he was not gaining at all, his mind became blank and he fully blacked out. Gray leaped up and tried to wake him up desperately. w.......why isn't he waking.............RIKU........WAKE UP......PLEASEhe began panicking, wanting Riku to awaken again and not hurt himself anymore. he paced, his want growing rapid and more and more desperate. Little One..........will he be ok........do you know what is wrong? |

Doves, noticing Riv's frustration, quickly set the little silpeti
down on a raised nest, much like the egg nests, but bigger and covered
in something similar to felt, there was also two others on the floor.
She dropped her bags in a spot just out of the way, then went quickly to
help Riv, but paused realizing she wouldn't be of much help. Reaching
out, she connected gently to Melody, so as not to add more pain, and
took some of her pain. Tamer, if you can hear
me, I need you to direct your silpeti over to the beds on the floor, and
have them get comfortable. Then you need to quit taking on their pain.
Doves said to Melody, but again left it open so others could "hear,"
while watching her closely. While watching and waiting though, Doves
came to a realization, she'd always been good at telling when people
were in pain, so she was using the same skill she had back home, but it
was amplified here, and seemed to cover more. Invi, Riv's still going to need your help, because I don't think the Tamer has enough strength to stand on her own after that. Little One watched Gray with a small sigh. Gray, I don't know exactly, but it seems he's just overly tired, just leave him be til Doves can see take a look at him. He said to Gray, barely covering up his own worry. You best hurry it up with Tamer, Riku needs looked at... Edited by WildFlower1324, Apr 18 2014, 10:11 AM.

Skully was becoming increasingly worried about Riku as well,
especially after Gray's panicking. Frustrated with the pace the slow
trio were going at, he slipped in between his human and the door. Seeing
as Invi wasn't reacting to their pleas of help ((nothing against you,
Invi, just want to move on a bit faster, or... well, Skully does XD)),
he snuffed out a puff of blue fire, and then concentrated on the magic
flowing in his veins. He sent some of it into his wing bumps, where tiny
flames were flickering, and watched them grow higher and higher,
twisting together into a coiling snake that was soon up at the handle of
the door. He strengthened the fire to make it resistant against other
materials, and hooked it into the handle. Pulling slightly, he managed
to slid it downwards, and headbutting against the door twice finally
opened the damned door. The burning fire inside her seemed to lessen suddenly. That wasn't her doing. Melody was confused, but a moment later she heard the same voice that had talked to her before inside her head. Since all her concentration was focused on staying conscious, she didn't even try and fight the invasion. She simply listened to the instructions, and a small part of her was grateful her burden was lessened a bit. Samus, go to Icarus and make sure he's okay, then go lay on one of the nests. Make sure the thug does the same, she sent a feeble thought to her creatures, hoping there was enough power left in the command to make them do as she asked. Thankfully they did just that, and as soon as the silpeti were on the nests, she let go of the pain, wincing as it left her in waves. Please stay as still as you can, my dears, or they'll hurt you, was her last thought before fainting. The door opened the same moment Melody fainted in their hands and the two bigger creatures howled out in pain. The increased weight of Melody's sagging body did it to Riv, and she fell painfully to her knees. "Ouch, what the... oh god this hurts ughhhhh," he cursed under her breath as she struggled up again. Her knees were burning, but now that the door was open she could finally enter the room. Just two steps away from the door was a bed, and she almost collapsed again beside it. God this was awful. But Melody was finally in a safe place where they could watch over her, and her creatures seemed to be as tame as they could with their pain. There wasn't much else to do but wait for her to wake up again now. In the meanwhile, though, there was Riku to be taken care of, and of course her growling stomach. |

invi walked in to the room with riv and , and sat on a chair
watching the two struggle. terry dropped out of her arms and inspected
the silpeti. (will post more later, G2G) |

((So much has happened! I promise I'll post once I read through. EDIT: Ok, got it. Invi, thank you for assuming I untied them since I wasn't here to. ^^ That would have been awkward, with me just standing there. XD)) Avalon had untied the silpeti as Riv asked and then followed them into the dorms, hesitant to get any closer. She blinked as she realized the dorms had rearranged themselves. She was sure it was the same place, and Shace was still there, but the rooms were enclosed now. It was surreal. All the same, she followed the caravan of people, dragons, and monsters up the steps and into the room, watching quietly. Once she got there, she stood awkwardly by the door and watched the silpeti. She visibly winced when they got their pain back and she heard their anguished cries. I wonder if someone will heal them at some point, she thought to herself. She always hated not being able to do anything. She saw invi sit down near her and said hi. Vuelie had followed Avalon as far as the dorm entrance, but as soon as she saw that the room had changed, she sped off to explore the new area. She loved everything magic could do - it was SO COOL! She eventually went back to the room where Avalon's bed had ended up and jumped up in the midst of Avalon's things. Then she curled up and sat there, waiting for her rider to get back. Terry went up to the silpeti without the red crystals on it's back
and tryed to communicate with it, just as he had done with Garry. It
was quite a bit harder. "Hello? My name is Terrador, what's yours?". Terry was met with the same bitterness as before. "What a stupid name" "And like your's is any better" "I'll have you know, Icarus is the name of the great sky god!" "So your name is Icarus? Isn't that the name of some guy from Greek mythology? Kind of ironic, seeing that your flightless, as you have no wings" "You still have a more stupid name" "My name comes from the earth guardian, terridor!" "......meh" "…i like you" "…me to, wanna be friends?" "Yeah, alright" Edited by invincible, Apr 19 2014, 07:33 AM.
