Dragons are real. The shock washes over you, slowly. You slowly come back to yourself and notice, as if for the first time, the person in front of you, sitting atop a majestic dragon. You know all about the dragon, naturally. Tale of Dragons has taught you a lot. Of course, until a few seconds ago, you had thought it was all fantasy… You blink in the sunlight. Not long ago at all, you had been inside, on the computer, hatching your newest rare. So many incredible dragons… could they ALL be as real as the one standing in front of you? “You can only have one,” says the figure on the dragon’s back. One dragon. That’s all? Online, you have tons. Then again, that’s a game. You’re shaken from your thoughts as the figure speaks again. “Now, come. Hurry! Usually, Mistland is only open to admins, but this is an emergency. We need everyone we can get who knows something about real dragons.” “Wait,” you say. “I’m going where?” Your mind flashes to all the things you have to do today – (sports practice, work, school, whatever) – but this has got to be important. You don’t know the stranger on the dragon, but come on! Real dragons! Not hesitating any longer, you scramble on board the dragon’s back. No sooner do you have a grip than the rider calls out to their steed and the dragon’s wings lift. It shoots up into the sky as fast as a bullet – and then the world around you disappears. “First, we need to get you a dragon. I needed to catch mine myself, but since we’ve had such a growth recently, you’ll just get yours from the hatchery that Silver and I built.” Silver? Meaning… SILVER Silver? The founder of the site? … Oh. “Wait. Who are YOU then?” The rider doesn’t answer. It’s so dark, they may not even be there anymore. Suddenly, however, the dragon’s wings stop beating and you’re sitting in broad daylight, in front of the strangest building you’ve ever seen. “Welcome to the hatchery on Mistland,” says the dragon rider with a slight smile. “Go right on in.” The rider then promptly flies away on their dragon into the sky until you can't see them any more. |

Gryffi finally caught a glace and the dragon and quickly got to her feet. Forgot dragons communicate telepathically...Gonna have to get used to that..
"It's nice to meet you Storm." She smiled at the dragon while holding
back a giggle, the dragon's antics were adorably funny. She turned to
look back at Reshi and offered her a hand up with probably the biggest
grin she's ever had on her face before. "I'm Gryffi." ((NEW PAGE! :D)) Edited by Gryffi, Sep 9 2014, 10:22 PM.

"That would be me! The Gryffi!" She smirked. "Queen of the Dra- Carp! I haven't gotten my egg yet!" She rushed past Storm and Reshi back to the eggs. "Anyone seen a cake around here?!" She asked just as she caught a glimpse of the egg she had been searching for. "Ah."
Oddly she didn't feel as excited as she thought she would when she
actually laid her eyes on it. Her smile faded. There was nothing drawing
her to it. No connection. Maybe a cake wasn't the dragon for her? Heh...Or maybe it's your fear of flying?
She thought to herself. Gryffi glanced around the hatchery even taking a
quite peek at the "anbandoned" eggs. Not one egg stuck out to her. "Huh...What's this?"
She said to herself as she headed to another archway. This one was
decorated with paintings of eggs just like the hatchery's had been but
these ones looked just a little bit different. "Hmm...I wonder..." She stepped through. "Yes! SILVFOXES!"
She excitedly started to glance around the room. Quickly a rainbow
colored egg caught her attention and she made her way over to it. The
egg was brilliant. She didn't think she could take her eyes off of it
for a second even if she had wanted to. Instant connection. This was the
kind of feeling she had been hoping for, clearly this egg was meant for
her. She grabbed the egg and was running out the door back towards
Reshi and Storm. "I am never putting this
egg down! It's going to hatch in my arms and the little one's just gonna
have to get used to their very clingy partner!" She said as she approached the pair, hugging the egg close to her chest.

Storm chuckled at Gryffi, then stuck his nose on her egg. Ooo, pretty egg, but it doesn't smell like dragon. He told Gryffi, then paused as he tried to listen to what Reshi said. I can't understand her Gryffi, can she hear me? Have her speak out loud please? He asked Gryffi while still keeping Reshi in as best he could, sitting on his haunches, looking alot like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. He looked between Gryffi and Reshi, then hiccuped. Oh, and there's food almost ready for everyone. |

Gryffi was practically beaming. "Isn't it adorable?!" She hugged the egg a bit tighter. "It actually isn't a dragon, it's a Silvfox. A Rainbow Silvfox!" She said in response to Storm's statement and looked back toward's teh Silvfox egg room. "From the looks of the fox hatchery Im the first to pick one...The room's kind of in the shadows so I guess I really shouoldn't be surprised." She turned back to the dragon and Reshi. "Huh? Oh yeah...Mini! Storm's having trouble hearing you. Could you speak out loud? I've been told telepathy's pretty hard at first." She said to the other girl. "I'm sure we'll catch on quick though." She added quickly. "Heh I think I'm too excited to eat right now. I'd love to meet everyone else though...Any idea where they're hiding Storm?" |

Storm chirped, and leaped to his paws, racing to the door, that lead to a very large hallway, and that went strait back into the mountain. They're this way, I can see Doves now! Storm said as he looked down another hallway that lead to the dorms and farther on, outside where others were at. He turned back and waited for them to follow. |

Reshi watched Gryffi pick out her egg and cheered with excitement.
"Yay! you've got an egg now! But... did you say it was a Slivfox? Cool! I wonder what kind it will be... I- I honestly dont know what mine is," Reshi said embarrassed, "But maybe its something special... I can feel it. I feel a strong connection to it..." |
