Dragons are real. The shock washes over you, slowly. You slowly come back to yourself and notice, as if for the first time, the person in front of you, sitting atop a majestic dragon. You know all about the dragon, naturally. Tale of Dragons has taught you a lot. Of course, until a few seconds ago, you had thought it was all fantasy… You blink in the sunlight. Not long ago at all, you had been inside, on the computer, hatching your newest rare. So many incredible dragons… could they ALL be as real as the one standing in front of you? “You can only have one,” says the figure on the dragon’s back. One dragon. That’s all? Online, you have tons. Then again, that’s a game. You’re shaken from your thoughts as the figure speaks again. “Now, come. Hurry! Usually, Mistland is only open to admins, but this is an emergency. We need everyone we can get who knows something about real dragons.” “Wait,” you say. “I’m going where?” Your mind flashes to all the things you have to do today – (sports practice, work, school, whatever) – but this has got to be important. You don’t know the stranger on the dragon, but come on! Real dragons! Not hesitating any longer, you scramble on board the dragon’s back. No sooner do you have a grip than the rider calls out to their steed and the dragon’s wings lift. It shoots up into the sky as fast as a bullet – and then the world around you disappears. “First, we need to get you a dragon. I needed to catch mine myself, but since we’ve had such a growth recently, you’ll just get yours from the hatchery that Silver and I built.” Silver? Meaning… SILVER Silver? The founder of the site? … Oh. “Wait. Who are YOU then?” The rider doesn’t answer. It’s so dark, they may not even be there anymore. Suddenly, however, the dragon’s wings stop beating and you’re sitting in broad daylight, in front of the strangest building you’ve ever seen. “Welcome to the hatchery on Mistland,” says the dragon rider with a slight smile. “Go right on in.” The rider then promptly flies away on their dragon into the sky until you can't see them any more. |

Avalon and Reginald put the food down inside the dorms with Shace
(who Avalon had replied to when she asked where they were going).
Reginald wasn't too happy that invincible had taken the apples from
Shace's and Riv's plates, but he just replaced Shace's with invi's own
and went back to the kitchen to get another for Riv. Avalon plopped down
on one of the beds and picked up her plate to start eating. She felt a
wave of surreality as she noted that all of the food was not only
vegetarian, but didn't contain cheese, tomatoes, peppers, or anything
else that she didn't like. Scrambled eggs, pasta, and some fruit that
she didn't recognize, but that she would probably like. She picked up
her fork and was about to start eating when Vuelie bounded back into the
room, jumped up on the bed, and started devouring her fruit. So you found it, then? Avalon inquired. Yes. It wasn't an attacker.
Vuelie stopped there and continued eating. Avalon was herself enough of
a tactful person to understand that Vuelie didn't intend to explain
further, and so just started eating her pasta and hoping that the others
would get back soon. They were all starving, she knew.

"Huh, I didn't know there were beds," Shace remarked, putting her
platters down before grabbing her own while Xulca leapt off her
shoulders, claiming a bed. Shace sat down beside her dragon and rotated the platter, waiting for Xulca to take something. The Quicksilver dug into the pasta with great gusto and Shace carefully shifted the rest of her food away from the hungry dragon and dug in. The scrambled eggs were okay... needed a bit more pepper. The fruit, however was delicious, though if you asked her to describe how it tasted, she couldn't really state a comparison, other than it tasted like fruit. She dug her thumbs into the top of her apple, splitting it down the middle and giving half to Xulca, who ate the whole thing in two bites, "Careful Xulca, I wanna keep my fingers, y'know!" The dragon made a distinct chuckling sound before settling on the bed. |

"Invi! Come on, stop that!" Riv yelled as the younger girl walked
in and stuffed an apple straight into Melody's mouth. That was very
cruel of her, to be fair. And would probably mess up everything that
she'd tried to achieve in the last few minutes with Doves. But as Melody
spit the apple against Terry's head she chuckled despite herself. Riv had never met any other Tamers, so she didn't know anything about them, but from what she'd deduced herself and heard from Melody, they hated Riders with a big intensity. That, however, didn't apply to Riv. At least, she had no huge reason to seriously hate on the Tamers, other than them sending the poor girl here to attack them. But seeing as she was unable to hurt them anymore, there was no need to act childish and mean towards her. Whatever reason she'd had to attack them, they'd eventually find out, and Riv was sure being nice would go further in that particular case. "Seriously, what's wrong with you? I can understand the fact that you're pissed off that she and her creatures attacked us, but we subdued them and I think it's time for us to behave like grown-ups, not like mean children who like to torture other people. As long as we don't know the details about what brought her here to us, we are going to treat her with the respect she deserves as our prisoner. Got that?" Skully growled beside Riv, sending slight mental cold fire waves towards Invi and Terry. Keep it down, little one, we don't need dispute inside our own group, Riv sent a quick message to the hatchling, and then continued out loud: "We need to be strong together, and this kind of behaviour will simply not do. You are old enough to understand that petty acts like this won't bring us anything, only more silence from her," she finished with a pleading voice, trying to make the other girl understand that this wasn't some silly game anymore. Melody was furious. How dare that girl humiliate her like that? At least the apple hadn't been too big and she'd managed to maneuvre it so that she could spit it out towards that nasty little black-and-red dragon beside her. If only she wouldn't have been tied up, she would've shown her what it meant to provoke a Tamer like that. Plus, her little dragon couldn't have helped her then. When the other girl, Riv was her name, she was pretty sure she'd heard someone call her that, stood up and started arguing on her behalf, though, she faltered in her fury. She still remembered her kind words from before, and even though she'd put them aside as some weak ploy to get her to talk, going against one of her own in front of Melody, the enemy, was simply baffling. Either she was stupider than she thought and was clearly showing dissonance in the group, which could be crucial information for her and the Tamers once she managed to escape, or it was another elaborate game to draw her in, weaken her defenses. In any case, she memorized every word the brunette girl said, just in case she could use those against her somehow someday. After berating Invi, Riv turned back to Melody, who was looking at her with angry, but slightly confused eyes. "I'm really sorry, Melody, for what Invi did. We all are hungry, and we know you must be too, but that was just a stupid joke from her," she glared at Terry's owner again. "I hope you understand. Anyway, if you want food, you have to come with us, but we're not sure how to transport you. It seems your pain has lessened a bit, so maybe you can walk yourself? We're not going to untie you for obvious reasons, but we can at least release your legs enough for you to be able to walk. And remember, running won't help you, we're simply faster than you right now." Riv finished her lecture and waited patiently for an answer. |

terry felt the cold fire being sent his and Invi's way, and
responded in two ways. the first thing he did was slowly duck, flaring
his wings and under-developed spines along his back. they contained
enough poison to make someone sick, but when he was fully grown they
would be fatal. he also puffed out some purple smoke for good measure.
the second thing he did was send a hazy, dizzy-motion-sickness like
feeling back to skully in response to the frosty burn he could feel. it
was only mild, but it was a warning to skully, Terridor would escalate
if Skully did. but as he did do this, Invi disapproved. "don't take this to far! your over-reacting! you where the one who wanted me to stop anyway!". terry looked at her and responded "so are you gunna tell her that you did wrong and she's right?". Invi looked at riv, than at melody, than at skully. "I, uhhh..........I wouldn't go that far but i don't want two perfectly nice people hating each other for no real reason".
Invi looked back at riv, grinned again and said. "Oi, let's all go and
get some food" and she moved behind melody and sliced through the knot
that tied her legs. ((oh god i love mini feuds in RP's, there always fun  ))

((Ah yes, you're the feud queen. You and all your shadow dragons
and stuff. Remember that one where I was the rose dragon who stole your
bracelets? XD I'm sure I have it archived somewhere.  Anyway. Right. Post.))"I didn't either, until pretty recently," said Avalon back. She was still eating her food, and wondering where the others were. Probably coming. Vuelie, who had eaten her fill in a matter of seconds, jumped up again and did a glide-leap off the bed. She amazingly kept going in the air until she reached the doorway, Avalon noted proudly. I'm going to go look around, said Vuelie. I will be back in a few minutes. Invi walked back to the dorms and started eating her platter of
food. it was very nice, if not a bit burnt in some places. she looked up
at shace and said "yes". Invi pause and thought. "I left my mum, dad,
sister, family and friends....I haven't even thought about that." she
thought about her mum and dad, how she had remembered them saying that
running away was the worst thing you could do to a parent, as they would
always have to hold on to the hope that one day, they'll come back. she
thought about her friends. "you know, my friend went to hong kong to
see her family...I may never see her again....." her expression turned
from one of sadness to a large smile "but theirs always hope...right?" ((yo, finished all updates to crystal generations. you can join now...please)) Edited by invincible, Apr 5 2014, 04:48 PM.

Riku ate then stop, the pain starting now, he tried to hide the blood that was not staining the bandages around his hands, he curls slightly and Grey went to do something fun, it then caused some trouble. |

Doves helped Melody to her feet, then stepped back for she got a twinge of anger from the little one. "What is it? The only reply she got was a "Come down here and see for your self."
Doves looked around, noting the placement of the crystal creatures,
along with other, possibly useful, things. Doves gave Riv a quick nod. "You get her back, I'll lead? I need to gather my stuff anyway, so if you'll just watch her for a moment..."
She asked, then waited for a reply, before turning and gathering up her
random collection of bags, along with her staff, that was flying
between colors. Meanwhile..... Little One had been racing down the steps to the dorm, food the biggest priority on her mind, when she caught a whiff of blood. "GRAY! Is that your paired bleeding? You do realize Doves will probably wring your neck for letting him do something stupid right?" She asked as she zipped around the corner, her color changing rapidly once again, and ended up slamming into Gray. She growled, but otherwise ignored the in-counter and jogged over to Riku. Glaring at him, she sat down, her tail and color twitching angrily. |

well I didnt want to stop him and he was ignoring me, little Grey replied, Riku paid no attention to little glaring at him, he just keened back and hid his fingers, Grey returned and ate its food then laid down on Riku's lap. his eyes close. |
