Dragons are real.

The shock washes over you, slowly. You slowly come back to yourself and notice, as if for the first time, the person in front of you, sitting atop a majestic dragon. You know all about the dragon, naturally. Tale of Dragons has taught you a lot. Of course, until a few seconds ago, you had thought it was all fantasy…
You blink in the sunlight. Not long ago at all, you had been inside, on the computer, hatching your newest rare. So many incredible dragons… could they ALL be as real as the one standing in front of you?
“You can only have one,” says the figure on the dragon’s back. One dragon. That’s all? Online, you have tons. Then again, that’s a game. You’re shaken from your thoughts as the figure speaks again. “Now, come. Hurry! Usually, Mistland is only open to admins, but this is an emergency. We need everyone we can get who knows something about real dragons.”
“Wait,” you say. “I’m going where?” Your mind flashes to all the things you have to do today – (sports practice, work, school, whatever) – but this has got to be important. You don’t know the stranger on the dragon, but come on! Real dragons! Not hesitating any longer, you scramble on board the dragon’s back. No sooner do you have a grip than the rider calls out to their steed and the dragon’s wings lift. It shoots up into the sky as fast as a bullet – and then the world around you disappears.
“First, we need to get you a dragon. I needed to catch mine myself, but since we’ve had such a growth recently, you’ll just get yours from the hatchery that Silver and I built.”
Silver? Meaning… SILVER Silver? The founder of the site? … Oh.
“Wait. Who are YOU then?”
The rider doesn’t answer. It’s so dark, they may not even be there anymore. Suddenly, however, the dragon’s wings stop beating and you’re sitting in broad daylight, in front of the strangest building you’ve ever seen.
“Welcome to the hatchery on Mistland,” says the dragon rider with a slight smile. “Go right on in.” The rider then promptly flies away on their dragon into the sky until you can't see them any more.

((@Invi: Oh okay that would make sense indeed, thanks :)

@Avalon: I would say 2 is a good number, especially if they are much bigger than the first one now. I would post now but I have a bit longer post on my mind (again xD) and I just woke up and am on my phone so I'll be writing it when I get back from school and onto my laptop. I hope you guys won't move too fast xD or my post will only get even longer and more confusing that way xD))

Edit:(( ooh new page :P))

((Okay, so checking to make sure I've got this correct in my head: I made a diagram!
Posted Image
Is this all right? Three silpeti, the peoples, the displays... I didn't add the hatchlings, cuz they're all sorta around. Anyone object? The only rational way I could figure that the wounded silpetl could get up to the balcony was that the "net" extended through the window up there and only covered the walls. Unless the warrior can somehow get them through, in which case the net is useless. -.- I also didn't point out where all of our displays are, cuz it wasn't really relevant. Also, the diagram thing isn't a regular thing. This will probably be the only time I make one - I was just getting a little confused, and I think we all were. XD Also, if there are more balconies like the one the girl's on, or more doors or staircases, etc., that's fine. You can invent them. :3))

((@Riv: We'll be waiting! I will anyway. I have a post in my mind too, but we've been doing so much OC that I want all the confusion to be over first. Hence the diagram. :3 Oh, and that one door behind the girl doesn't have anything behind it because we don't KNOW what's behind it. ;) ))

(((EDIT: And again you managed to post right before me without me noticing XD This forum really needs a notification before we can post that someone else has posted before us xD)))

((Okay sorry for the double post, but it'll be noticed better this way. Avalon, I checked out your diagram, and had a few ideas of how my post that I already wrote, but then cut out because your post was there out of the blue xD would work with the diagram. There are just a few position changes that I made, especially to myself since I didn't think I was anywhere near Reginald (he's fine by the door xD). Here's what I came up with:

Posted Image
Okay. Let's start with the Silpeti.

1) Silpetl parallel to Avalon. I figured since they came in later, they had to have come in not from the hole in the ceiling, but from somewhere on the sides since the shield was then already expanding, starting from the hole, meaning no one would get in there after a few seconds. So I put it way up there by the stairs somewhere so that we could first concentrate on the other silpetl.

2) The other Silpetl. It would also have come from the side, this time from the right side (of the diagram). At the point where we were now (Invi getting attacked by it) I figured it would be in front of her in the middle of the room, more or less.

3) Shace (yellow spot). For some reason I saw her on that side of the room rather than by Avalon. At least my (currently removed) post had her there, and it would be good for the battle plan I had made in that post XD

4) Me (Riv - green spot). In the first place I was nowhere near the door or Reginald (at least I thought I wasn't), plus, when I went for cover with my bow at first I was pointing it at the door from a longer range which would put me away from it. When the first small silpetl attacked, it was poised on you, Avalon, and I shot it in the bottom, which would put me more or less where the arrow points right now.

So, take a look at this and let me know if you have any objections. I don't mind about any other placings, in fact they are more or less exactly where I imagined them to be. =3

I have to go to bed right now, so I'm just going to go ahead and put my original post here as well and if you guys have any objections, I can always remove it tomorrow and we can figure this out then. ^^

Oh, and I know my post doesn't mention the second Silpetl that I placed away from us towards the top of the diagram, but that's because I first figured they would attack one at a time, and secondly I thought we would all be concentrated on the most immediate danger, the Silpetl attacking Invi, and not notice the second one just yet.))

Everything was a blur. Riv hadn't had much time to ponder over what she'd really just done as many things happened almost at once. Invi had been walking towards the still creature, as well as the little Xulca, but Riv had paid no attention to them, assuming the immediate threat was over. She'd still been torn on how to feel about her actions and had been letting Skully comfort her, despite his strange need to go sniff at the body for some reason. But then it'd raised it's head, making Invi yelp and jump back, and Riv snap back into action, drawing another arrow.

She had had no time to release it though, as a black blur had suddenly swept the body away. Following Invi's gaze she'd just managed to register a pale girl with seriously awesome flying armor up on the high balcony (in her mind agreeing with Invi about wanting that armor, no matter how cool her's was right now) when another creature that had gotten in just before Reginald's shield covered the room charged straight at the other girl. She just barely got away. It was huge, way bigger than the previous, which made Riv think that had only been a novice-type little guy.

She had obviously turned her bow towards the big insect as soon as it'd appeared but she was struggling to get a good shot. It was much faster than the previous one and seemed to be concentrating on Invi as she was the closest. That also meant it was constantly moving around, putting objects and other people between it and Riv's arrowpoint. Plus they were moving away from her, making it even harder for her to shoot it. She wasn't even sure how she managed to hold her position for so long. Pulling the string taut was using up her strength, and she eventually stopped. There was no point in the bow in this situation. She needed to get into close combat.

All of this she decided in a split second. It was like someone really had taken over her body and mind. This wasn't her. But maybe all those video games really did pay off in the end, and the books and movies and whatnot... Plus, if her suspicion about her magical armor was right, it would mean it only enhanced what her body was doing (meaning the reaction time, agility and strength) and her mind was free to do all the thinking. It did seem to move faster than usual, but then again, the young woman had never been put into a situation quite like this. It was more instinct than logical thinking, even. It just came to her, and she acted upon it.

Setting the bow on the ground, careful not to scratch it (not that it would have scratched, she figured), she thought through her options. As long as the girl stayed on the balcony, there was a threat of an arrow flying through any one of them. Skully had noticed the menacing bow on her and had sent Riv that piece of information. Actually, the little fella proved to be an invaluable asset in this situation. He could stay under cover quite easily with his fairly small stature, and still notice things the fighters wouldn't in the heat of the battle. Plus he was fast, really fast, even only on his feet, which made his moving to a better vantage point easier as well.

But Invi was starting to get tired from the looks of it, not that anyone wouldn't with the strong attack the creature was pushing upon her. Riv needed to think fast and act even faster, she knew there was no time to waste. So she started barking out commands. Why, she didn't know. But somehow such stressful situations where teamwork was needed she apparently became the leader. Usually she was always a content (more or less) follower and didn't usually say a word, but something in her changed in that moment. She became one of those fearless leaders she'd always admired before.

"Invi," she shouted to the retreating girl, "try and push it back towards us! Keep it away from Riku! Use your sword to keep it at a distance from yourself!" She then turned towards Shace. "It's back is to you. You saw where their weak spot is. Try and get a few swipes in, but keep your shield up. They are fast. Doves, stay where you are and protect Riku, you're his best chance. Avalon," she continued whilst sneaking forward, drawing her own sword. It made a soothingly quiet sound, sliding out of the sheath, "stop messing around with jewellery and get you and your sword on the other side of it. We're going offensive on this bastard ((I'm sorry for swearing, but I figured it would fit the best out of all the words that came into my mind [most were even worse XD], but if someone is not comfortable with this, I'll change it to something more appropriate))."

Riv had reached the point where she could easily charge the insect thingie from the side. She'd kept her eye on the balcony and the girl the whole time she was darting from cover to cover to get near the creature, but Paley (in the lack of a better name) seemed to be content to just watch them fight for now. Still, she sent Skully a mental: "Watch her and let me know immediately when she makes even the slightest move toward the bow." She got a nod back and the little creature focused his fierce gaze on the balcony.

She got into an offensive-defensive stance, keeping her sword pointed at the creature, ready to pounce on it, but still holding her shield so it covered most of vital areas from attacks on her left side. Her body was tingling with anticipation and fear. This was such a new situation for her, how she managed to stay that calm was beyond her.

"As soon as everyone's in position, we attack, understood?" she looked at the other three girls in the attack force. She hoped her plan would work.

((Okay, sounds good! The silpeti I mostly placed in random positions around the room. Although I had thought that they came through the top hole while Reginald was still getting the spell out, we'll go with that. Maybe they crashed through the walls (since I don't see how they would've followed us through the corridors without us noticing). So, I added some wall damage as well. The red arrows are pointing at the holes. I couldn't put one on the east side, though, since that's the main museum, so the silpetl that's attacking invi is coming from the other side from where you put it. It's constantly moving around, though. We all are, lol. Both holes are now closed with the net, of course. Same with Shace, cuz I had no idea where she was. You're fine there, also. I guess I had thought you ran toward the door when the sword came through. \('-')/ Well, get some sleep, and I'll read your main post now. :3

((Its fine, Just I figured I was standing a little more in front of Riku and Reginald.))

Doves stood there watching each of the new creatures, and they were bigger then that first one. Crap, She thought to herself. She felt a mental nudge, though it wasn't Little One, so Doves through up a mental wall, but then she got a soothing tone from Little One. "It's just the one called Grey," Little One said into Dove's head. Relaxing she let Grey tell her what Riku had sent. Oi ve, tell him he can help by translating what's being said, so long as he doesn't pass out again... I can't concentrate on both the fight and my bracelet at the same time. I hope that raises his mood. She kept up her guard, but with only one hand on the staff so she could pet Little One and Grey in turn.

Riku suddenly stood and put his kimono on, he didnt care about his wounds. he drew his katana and soon was next to Riv. ".......I know I'm a stupid idiot but.....I don't care.........I can at least help.........." little grey leaped on to his shoulder, for now he was turning the pain into a will to fight, he was not easy to keep down......

Doves should remember. he had been in a fight at school back on earth. it was a group of bullies that where picking on her and he had punched on in the face to stop them.........he ended up getting beaten up and thrown to the ground, his nose bleeding, as well as his lip. he stood and kept taking the punches at they came at him. he just kept getting up to prove that he could not only take hits but that he was willing to stand up to them when it comes to his little sis. the beating lasted an hour before a teacher walked by and saw Riku a bloody mess and the bullies with fists covered in his blood. Riku just stood there shaking a little and hardly able to stand.

The night of the fire and robbery, Riku stood up to a man with a gun before he saw the fire..........and one time when some one was jumping him just because he was younger, he got into a fight with some one with a pocket knife. he ended up in the hospital from it but he did it to prove his worth.........a worth that he could only prove himself.........he needed to do something when he saw the stranger trying to enter the room where every one else where....... all he needed to do was to get her away from the door long enough for the others to get ready, but he ended up being the target but glad it was him and that she didnt get in.

"doves.........ill be alright ok......I know im a jar head but relax"

Avalon looked up as soon as Riv started giving orders. Where did she learn to do that? thought Avalon. She herself was usually a planner type, but the frantic activity of the battle had made her almost completely useless. Well, at least she could help out, and she would have to trust Riv's judgment on this one. Rather than put the "jewelry" away, though, she grabbed it out of the box and held it with her right hand. Maybe it would help or something, though she didn't feel any difference holding it. Well, it couldn't hurt, anyway. She picked up her sword with her left hand and jumped next to invi. Too bad she didn't have any armor. She tried to start taking the offensive, and was immediately thankful for her year of sword training. Of course, actually fighting something was different than just doing a form, but it did help a little. At least she could hold the sword and block properly without dropping it. Attacking would come later - for now, distraction.

((So wait, Riku, if you're being targeted, is it by the silpetl that was behind Riv, or the one invi and I are fighting?))

the monster charged at invi, suddenly and fiercely. she reacted so fast she wasn't even sure she knew what she was doing. she had no shield, so in that moment she lifted her huge one sided sword up in front of her, so that the point faced to the left of her. the monster ran head first in to the red section of the blade, seemingly attracted to it. but despite it's huge size and un-doubtable strength, it stopped in it's tracks, it couldn't push forwards. of course, nether could she, but the fact that Invi was even holding her own ground shocked her. maybe it was the sword.... hey, riv got faster when she put on her armor, maybe the blade had the same effect but with strength? focusing, she put all her might in to her weapon and slowly she pushed the beast back. shocked, the monster backed up, but before it was out of range, she slashed at it's eye. it screeched, as one of it's eyes turned a milky white. in the background she could hear the silver haired attacker sequel slightly in what sounded like pain.....no, empathy? maybe both.... it didn't matter. the beast had turned towards Avalon.

((can i just say that currently on the sight, the stats section is down. and were here in this museum, filled with the best dragon collectors things, fighting bugs. sort of ironic, don't you think?))
